WHAT MENOPAUSE CARE SHOULD FEEL LIKE
Three things, always.
Time
A 45-minute initial consultation. Not 8 minutes. Not a questionnaire. Real time to talk through hot flushes, sleep, brain fog, mood, libido, joint pain, and everything else perimenopause and menopause bring — with a doctor who understands all of it.
Continuity
Care that follows you across years, not transactions. Written treatment plans, regular check-ins, adjustments as your symptoms shift, and a doctor who knows your history.
Evidence
Australian-registered doctors with genuine interest and confidence in menopause care. Treatment options grounded in current evidence, including body-identical hormone therapy where clinically appropriate. No script mills. No quotas.

WHY FUSENITE EXISTS
The kind of menopause clinic that wouldn’t exist without you.
Fusenite was built by an Australian-registered doctor who saw firsthand how poorly mainstream healthcare serves women through perimenopause and menopause. The dismissive consultations. The “you’re too young to be menopausal.” The 8-minute appointments. The grey-market hormone clinics filling the gap.
We’re the menopause clinic we wanted to be able to refer our patients to. AHPRA-registered. Real consults. Written plans. Time to actually listen. Run by clinicians, not by a marketing team.

QUESTIONS
Things women commonly ask before joining.
Is Fusenite right for me if I'm perimenopausal but still having periods?
Yes. Perimenopause is one of our core areas. Symptoms in perimenopause are often more chaotic than menopause itself because hormone levels are still fluctuating — and they're frequently dismissed in 8-minute GP appointments. We see women from their late 30s onward.
I'm not sure if I'm menopausal. How do I know?
Menopause is diagnosed clinically — based on your symptoms, age, and menstrual history — not on a single blood test. Our 45-minute consultation gives your doctor the time to properly assess your stage of the transition and what's likely driving your symptoms.
Do I need blood tests before treatment?
Not always. RACGP guidance is that bloodwork isn't required for diagnosing menopause in women over 45 with typical symptoms. Your doctor will order pathology only when it's clinically indicated — for example to rule out thyroid disease or assess bone health.
Is hormone therapy safe?
For most women under 60 (or within 10 years of menopause), the benefits of hormone therapy outweigh the risks. Risk profiles vary by individual history, route of administration, and product. We have an honest, evidence-based conversation about your specific situation — we don't promise outcomes and we don't sell you on any one option.
I have a family history of breast cancer. Can I still see Fusenite?
Yes. A family history of breast cancer is something we discuss in detail during your consultation; it doesn't automatically rule out hormone therapy. Your doctor will weigh your specific risk and the strength of your symptoms together with you.
I have migraines. Can I still consider hormone treatment?
Yes. Migraines (including with aura) require careful product selection — transdermal options are generally preferred over oral — but they don't preclude treatment. This is exactly the kind of nuance our 45-minute consult is built for.
What if I don't want hormone treatment?
That's completely fine. We support both hormonal and non-hormonal approaches — including non-hormonal medical options, lifestyle and behavioural strategies, CBT-I for sleep, and pathways for specific symptoms like pelvic floor or mood. Treatment is your decision, made with full information.
How is Fusenite different from my regular GP?
Three things: time (45 minutes vs 8), continuity (written plans, regular reviews, the same doctor over time), and depth in menopause specifically. Many GPs are excellent generalists; few have the time or specific interest to do menopause care thoroughly. We do this as our primary focus.
Do you accept Medicare?
Fusenite is a private-pay service — there's no Medicare rebate on consultations. You don't need a referral. Pathology your doctor orders may be Medicare-rebated separately at your local collection centre.
What if I need to see someone in person?
Telehealth covers the vast majority of menopause care, but we'll always help arrange in-person follow-up when it's warranted — for example, a pelvic exam, a specialist referral, or a face-to-face GP visit in your area.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no lock-in contracts. The first 30 days come with a full satisfaction guarantee — if Fusenite isn't the right fit, we refund your membership in full. After that, cancel any time from your dashboard.
Where do you ship medications?
Australia-wide, via registered Australian pharmacies. Your prescription is dispensed and shipped by your fulfilling pharmacy; you pay them directly. We do not mark up medications.
